Project 3.6.5.

The calm before the storm. You know your going to get hit hard when the townships start declaring a snow emergency the night before it even starts. These three shots will be good "before" shots for the days to come. ;)
Looking out the front door, at my two parking spots and my car.

Wow, we woke up to at least 12 inches and had 20+ by the time the storm was done.

The next day, the roads are still mostly snow covered and the clean up is not done!
This is what the vans looked like at work. hehe
The car is dug out and the mountain of snow grew.
Cali is home!

No Pictures this day. I thought since I have no pictures I would look through my photobucket and find an oldie but goodie. I think this was approx September 2004 on the beaches of San Diego.

This was the night before my big gig, the Glamour Shots. We did a little practice session with my friends daughter, Alexa. Isn't she beautiful?

This was a full day of Glamour Shots. What a long but fun day it was! I am not going to post any of those here because I will eventually give that day it's own blog post. Instead, I am going to share some shots taken in between some of the Glamour Appts.

Today I felt like a truck hit me. It was a long weekend and my mind and body were exhausted. I took a total of 2 pictures this day. Ooops!

Cali was obsessed with my snowboard and got a kick out of trying to jump in it. She had to put my shoes on to have the board stay on her feet. hehe

The lightscoop. If you have a DSLR, you have to get one. I got it on sale for $20.00 from adorama. This picture was taken in the bathroom with the pop up flash on my camera and the lightscoop.

Project 3.6.5.
I'm late! hehe
It's been a busy week with lots of new things going on. The most immediate is a rally to win a photo contest for a great rescue I volunteer for. Voting starts tonight at midnight and I would be forever grateful to everyone that wouldn't mind taking a few minutes to register and vote for my cat, Leo. You have seen his handsomeness many times in my 3.6.5.'s and we have a chance to win $10,000 for the rescue organization that saved him.

I had intended on spending hours practicing my new light set, but last minute plans switched that to 3 girls and a bottle of wine. I only took one picture that night, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. The girls night in, or the picture I took. HAHA!

Project 3.6.5.

I had taken no pictures until after dark but I had just purchased a light set and needed to learn. I took many many pictures that night so I wasn't shooting for creativity, but more for learning purposes. However, the very last shot of the night was my favorite. It happens like that a lot with me. I will have a really frustrating session and when it comes to down to the one I like, the very last picture always seems to win out. Weird.
The cats got in on the learning action as well, lol!
